This week I was invited down to try the new ‘bring your own wine night’ at Randall & Aubin in Manchester which they’ve recently launched. The restaurant is primarily a fish restaurant, described as the best one in the country and they have sites in Manchester and London. I’ve been once before for a Christmas party and was really impressed with how many yummy dishes they have, and as a big fish lover, I was in heaven. The restaurant first opened back in 1996 on Brewer Street, Soho and the menu is inspired by French and British dishes. The decor is inspired by Parisian style with chandeliers and marble table tops but has an almost urban feel about it with the use of white subway tiles. They’ve just started to offer customers and wine lovers the chance to bring their own bottle on a Monday night, which, let’s face it, isn’t one you’d usually spend doing anything special.
